Scales stands for Southern communities Advocacy Legal Education Service. SCALES is a community legal centre jointly funded by Murdoch University and various Govt education. Offering free legal advice and referral to people who live or work in the Rockingham, Kwinana, areas. On Immigration, Centrelink, advice to tenants, criminal law, family law, consumer law, domestic violence, issues relating to young people, family law in information forums equal opportunity. Scales is teaching law clinic. Clients are seen by appointments by law students. Students are closely supervised by qualified solicitors.
