Neighbour aid provide such services as transport to medical appoints, shopping, social outings, limited respite and home visits for isolated people.Can also assist with the installation of shower rails, shower heads etc. Community transport provide a service called dial a bus and provide transport at the fees listed for medical appointments. Peer suport provides respite care to younger people with a disability in the Singleton area. Personal care offers assistance with daily self-care tasks with hygiene and grooming. Domestic assistance helps with cleaning dishwashing, clothes washing & ironing.

My mum suffered a stroke in July and is currently in Woy Woy rehab centre. They’re hoping she’ll be home in 5/6 weeks. My dad is looking for someone to come in the mornings and evenings to help with mum. We are looking at between 4-6 hours per day. We’ll know more in 5/6 weeks as to the role itself but it’s standby assistance.
