Social Workers and Welfare Officers provide services to all clinical areas in the hospital. Social Workers are part of a multidisciplinary team comprising Allied Health professionals, medical and nursing staff. The service operates Monday to Friday and minimal cover is provided on weekends and public holidays.

This is a counselling and mediation service with private and corporate clients. The team is made up of five social workers and one psychologist. All are trained counsellors.The main focus of their work is in Family Court mediation and staff and organisational issues in the Corporate world. They are also registered practitioners of the GP "Better Access to Mental Health " Program which will fund 12 sessions in 12 months through Medicare for counselling sessions. The team consists of five social workers - Bronwyn Cutler(Principal) , Piers Yates-Round , Anita Lynette , Ruth Heady and Sue Tervake. The Psychologist is Tim Christie.
