Skills Training and Resource Service (STARS)
STARS is a HACC funded program which aids in the recruitment, training and referral of volunteers to provide services assisting frail older people, people with disabilities and their carers. Also receive funding from Canterbury City Council and Leichhardt Municipal Council so able to assist non-HACC services in these areas and refer volunteers. Staff training also available. Can I please ask how I can access an application for accommodation in your over 55 units please. I have recently moved back to WA from working in NT. I used to stay at my mum's place but my nephew has moved in so I have no housing. I am 61 not currently working may be able to get some p/t work.
