Red Cross Community Services provide :- Soup Patrols :- Every night of the week Red Cross volunteers serve free evening meals of hot soup and bread to people who are homeless etc Other services are:- FOODcents Program - This innovative program sees trained Red Cross volunteers providing assistance to families wanting to make significant diet and lifestyle changes. Volunteers offer guidance on ways to save money on food shopping, provide information on the healthy eating food pyramid and even teach the family how to prepare and cook easy and tasty meals. Other Community Services run from this office are :- Save -A -Mate :- a youth drug and alcohol prorgram Good Start Breakfast Club:- targeted before school program of providing nutritional breakfast for children -Emergency Crisis Relief:- Food and clothing vouchers -Regional Prison Services:- Visiting scheme with post-prison counselling and financial advice. - Caspian House :-Youth Drop-in Centre.
