Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI) Australia - Residential Services
SCI operates a number of accommodation facilities, some of which are supported, in and around Sydney and Coffs Harbour. Where no staff are on-site, the individual residents are responsible for arranging their own personal care through the Home Care Service or, if eligible, the Attendant Care Program. A new facility in Collaroy is currently being planned by SCI. It will consist of eight separate self-contained units, each with its own private entrance but with access to common areas for all residents. One unit will provide family accommodation and two of the units will be equipped to cater for people who are ventilator dependent. The new facility will be transitional in nature and will provide a rehabilitation focus designed to enable residents to move into community living as soon as possible.

With our lockdown, the down turn of my job and not qualifying for the new government assistance, not having a vehicle to run myself around I am putting my kids ahead of my own stigma today and ask for any assistance with obtaining support with some groceries, to make matters more difficult I have a child with sever allergies to nuts, dairy and wheat and the urgent issue of epipens which I need to prioritize in having renewed - this also makes food shopping near impossible utilizing the support of local food bank and significantly more expensive. Is there any food vouchers that can be accessed online to use with the supermarkets who offer a click and collect service or home delivery?

My mother is 86 years old and she has early set Demancha and there is no one that can care for her 24/7 so im looking for a nursing home that will care for her but i need to find one that she can basically look after herself but to also have assistance around her 24/7 she has been hospitalised on 2 accassions now and the doctors and physio staff does not want her to stay living in her home because the only other person that lives there is my eldest son but he has cerebral phycey so can you please help me find the right residential aged care living village in the Lavington and Albury area’s only please
