St John of God Counselling Centre in Fremantle has the 'Beating the Blues' program in its primary care mental health service . This is a computer based program is one of the services which the Centre offers to people with high prevalence mental disorder - predominantly depression and anxiety disorders. St John of God Counselling Centre is part of the Social Outreach Program of St John of God Health Care (SJGHC). The Centre was set up to assist people in the Fremantle area with high prevalence mental disorders, together with their families or carers. It is recognised that at present many people attending their GP because of mental health problems are unable to access related therapy services, for financial or other reasons. the Counselling Centre also provides short term counselling, group programs and perinatal mental health services. People are referred by their General Practitioner, the area mental health service or another human service agency, or they may self-refer.

Every time I ask for help from places locally I have to be assessed and it's so much stress going through all your troubles being advised to see financial advisers. It's so depressing going through the same thing each time.
I keep getting referred to Orange Door. They seem to help everyone else I've spoken to without having to relive and go thru your depressing present reasons why you require help quite indepth they go. Which is too stressful.
They have left me without assistance on a friday left me with no help because I'd spoken to more than 1 person there they were confused and just left me with nothing.
My phone is playing up so can't receive calls always so they just didn't send vouchers they'd told me they were sending..
It's just so stressful having to explain your story all the time.
