Advocates for improved services for senior citizens with the governments both federal and state. They provide social support activities such as Hoi on Tuesday, Thai Chi Wednesday, indoor bowls, housie on Saturday and regular meetings. They also have bus trips during the year to places like Nelson Bay, Harbour Cruise in Sydney etc. They have lunches during the year for special occasions like Fathers and Mothers Day. Birthday party every June and Christmas party.

Hello, I am a mum of two small children aged 1 and 3. I have been thinking of the value of community and would love to reach out to the older generation who may be missing their family or not have any. I'm not sure how to go about it. I'd love to take some time to visit or meet with a group of friendly people . I think it might bring some joy to some and my children will have the benefit of getting to know a different generation.
