Support Group for Parents of Children with a Disability
A support group run by parents, for parents of children with disabilities, to meet, talk and support each other. Recently introduced a social networking resource (similar to Facebook), 'Tascare Family' - recognising that parents of children with a disability find it difficult to get 'out and about', and providing an oppportunity for parent to interact and support one another through shared experience. Maintaining a library of resources and educating the general public are aims of the group.
