Sutherland Shire Council is the sponsor of the Commonwealth funded services that supports children from 0-12 years old who have a disability, are of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds or of Aboriginal / Torres Strait Islander or South Sea Island descent. The service aims to facilitate the access and inclusion of all children 0 -12 years with additional needs into children's services within the Sutherland Shire. The team offers support to staff, parents and the community by providing advice, information and consultation in relation to disability and cultural diversity. Provides information on support agencies, training for staff and parents and assistance in application for the Special Needs Subsidy Schemes Funding.

I had a very tough year the last few months I had to watch my mother slowly die from breast cancer, been struggling since mums passing before I turned 50. My family doesn't talk to me after mother passed been a lot of other things on my mind in regards to my immediate family.
