The Sutherland Division of General Practice is committed to enhancing health care in the Sutherland Shire, whilst improving communication between GPs, the hospitals and other service providers. The Division provides a focus for education and professional development of GPs and is committed to promoting quality health service delivery. The Sutherland Division of General Practice's core business covers four main areas: improvement of the health of the population in the Sutherland Shire through general practice; services to GPs by the Division; promotion of general practice to the community; and provision of a sound infrastructure.
