This service provides vulnerable young people who are experiencing difficulties, with the individual support they need to develop skills that will assist them to deal with any immediate crises, meet the demands of early adult life and contribute to their communities. This service also assists the parents and families of vulnerable young people to identify supportive strategies and develop skills in communication that will strengthen relationships wihtin the family and encourage individual family memebers to achieve their goals.

My mum suffered a stroke in July and is currently in Woy Woy rehab centre. They’re hoping she’ll be home in 5/6 weeks. My dad is looking for someone to come in the mornings and evenings to help with mum. We are looking at between 4-6 hours per day. We’ll know more in 5/6 weeks as to the role itself but it’s standby assistance.
