TAFE Disability Unit
The TAFE Disability Unit provides assistance to people with disabilities to access education at TAFE. Services and support offered by the Physical Disability Unit include: Loan/provision of equipment, Access/mobility support, Development of educational programs with students, Exam reasonable adjustment and tutorial support, Reader/writers or notetakers, Interpreters. The Physical Disability Unit also provides access to Teachers/Consultants specialising in the following areas of disability: Hearing, Intellectual, Vision, Neurological, Psychiatric and Special learning difficulties. Hi I need some help for basic needs as I have nothing until I start and paid with new part time job - which I presume will be within 2-4 weeks. My housemates are helping with rent but that is all help that I've got. I've also lost contact for help from families and friends. My evidence documents were not enough to receive support from Vinnies and other organisation.
