TAFE Outreach-Ryde
Outreach provides courses for people who find it difficult to enter education or training programs. The program aims to remove barriers such as income level, English language ability, geographic or social isolation, physical or intellectual disability, or lack of previous education. Programs at Ryde include Computing, Office Skills, Call Centre Training, Horticulture, Handy person/Outdoor Worker, First Aid, Commercial Cookery and the TAFE Carelinks Youth Program. Hello, I am a mum of two small children aged 1 and 3. I have been thinking of the value of community and would love to reach out to the older generation who may be missing their family or not have any. I'm not sure how to go about it. I'd love to take some time to visit or meet with a group of friendly people . I think it might bring some joy to some and my children will have the benefit of getting to know a different generation.
