Telecross - Ulladulla
Telecross is a service which aims to relieve social isolation and provide a security check on the physical wellbeing of people who live alone and may be at risk of sudden illness. Telecross is a free service offered by Australian Red Cross and is provided 365 days of the year to people who have no other regular services checking on their wellbeing. Volunteers make a short friendly phone call each morning between 8 am - 9 am. If there is no response a second call is made 10 minutes later. If still no response a pre arranged contact is alerted.

Hi,
I hope everyone is doing well. I was just wondering what the process is for applying for emergency food vouchers?
I am currently in between jobs, and my savings and centrelink are allocated to rent and medical expenses.
As of June, I'll be starting my new job but until then, I'm not sure how easy it will be to afford groceries.
Thanks for any advice,
Emma

Hello
My mum suffered a stroke in July and is currently in Woy Woy rehab centre. They’re hoping she’ll be home in 5/6 weeks. My dad is looking for someone to come in the mornings and evenings to help with mum. We are looking at between 4-6 hours per day. We’ll know more in 5/6 weeks as to the role itself but it’s standby assistance.
