The Salvation Army(SAMSS Program) - Kwinana

The Salvation Army is a Christian organisation providing many and varied services to the community. This service [Mens Support Service (SAMSS)]specifically provides counselling and support for men experiencing difficulty with mental health and other issues that prevent them from living a fulfilled life. This is a 10 week program and deals with anger, depression, self-esteem and behaviour management.This is run together with another program for both men and women called positive life-style.There is also a welfare program that provides emergency relief in the form of food, clothing and vouchers.Open each Friday and is volunteer run. This office is manned during the day and appointments need to be made for conselling services. The Drop-In Centre for men only is open Monday afternoon from 1pm- 4pm and Thursdy and Friday mornings from 9am -12noon.
