Toukley Neighbourhood Centre
The centre provides welfare services, information and community development. Social, support and craft groups. A lip reading group for people that are deaf or hearing impaired, run by Better Hearing Australia (listed separately). The centre also facilitates a Community Visitors Scheme service, which trains and matches volunteers with a resident from one of the local aged care facilities. Ongoing support and training is offered to all volunteers (listed separately). Food packages for emergency assistance is available. EAPA electricity account payments and Telstra vouchers(subject to funding) ring for appointment. The Centre is able to provide information about NILS scheme; a no interest loan for people living in the Wyong shire on low incomes.
