Unanderra Community Centre
The Unanderra Community Centre is a local community [committee] run organisation. The steering committee is UFARA [ Unanderra & Figtree Area Residents Association ]. It is the hub for providing a range of social, educational, recreational & support services to the community. A Community Development Worker is employed by the centre to co-ordinate activities. A Youth Worker co-ordinates the Youth Project. Both are helped by volunteers. The community can hire the Halls for such activities as Local Groups, Meetings and 21st Parties/weddings. The centre provides a variety of activities and services to the residents of the surrounding suburbs of Unanderra, Figtree, Mount Kembla, Coachwood Park, Cordeaux Heights and Farmborough Heights. Various groups run from the centre including: AA, Health support groups, exercise groups, seniors groups and family support services.

Hi my name is Emma and I am a single mum of two teenagers and I am in need of help with a food Voucher and fuel voucher. I am and have been struggling financially for quite some time now and don't like asking for help, with minimum help from centrelink due to the kids ages and not being classed as a single mum and only one shift a week at work my situation has become worse and am not breaking even to pay rent and my other bills. There is no money left over for groceries or fuel. Can someone help please?
