Uniting Care Nareen Gardens Towards Independence Accommodation Service

Independent Living Program for people with an intellectual disability. Accommodation options are: twenty-four hour group home support, shared accommodation with 2-4 other people in private rental. Drop in support is available to people who live independently. Individual support is given to develop and maintain general living skills. Qualified staff, in consultation with client, develops a plan which will: Establish personal goals, establish the type of support and quality of support required, provide the best possible outcomes for each individual, maximise the individual's existing skills, make the most of community resources and provides continuous evaluation of all arrangements and monitor individual progress. Clients are responsible for paying for food, electricity, gas and telephone. The 'Coffee Club' operates on the last Friday of the month (bi-monthly). To book tel 4384 8156

To whom It may concern,
My name is Robert, I’ve experienced family domestic violent. Sadly I have a big injury in my back disk due to been assaulted and bashed by 6 x Police officers on the
20-11-2020. I haven’t been working, I’m receiving Centrelink job seeker. I got kicked out from the family house that I was paying mortgage for. Ive been homeless and leaving in a motel, I did approach Housing Department and thank god and thanks to them that they have offered me a 1 bedroom until which im hoping to move into it next week. Sadly I can’t afford to buy some of the furniture for the unit , jI’m wondering if your company would be able to help me out ?

Can I please ask how I can access an application for accommodation in your over 55 units please. I have recently moved back to WA from working in NT. I used to stay at my mum's place but my nephew has moved in so I have no housing. I am 61 not currently working may be able to get some p/t work.
