Volunteer Task Force - HACC MSW - [C,F,Me]
This is a HACC service that is based in Nth Perth but covers all MSW- LGAs of Cockburn, Fremantle, Melville, Kwinana and Rockingham. Provides gardening, lawn mowing, gutter cleaning, minor home maintenance, domestic assistance , transport (dedicated number is 9306 7000) and social support in the form of social outings and games mornings for the aged and disabled from Yanchep to Rockingham. All MSW LGAs covered to Mandurah but not including Mandurah. Metro wide HACC Transport previously provided by Community West but now is VTF at their Wanneroo office. The York MDRT was created to provide education, support and respite to carers and people with dementia. The service, which is funded by the Commonwealth National Respite for Carers, assists families in accessing community-based respite services based in the Central Wheat belt and part of the Upper Great Southern Region. On average the Team travels a 200km radius from York . Services provided are:- Support and Case Management- The Team will continue to offer support to the family throughout the time the person with dementia is living at home. Ongoing respite program - Regular community-based respite is offered to families through a variety of models including: In-Home Respite Host Family Respite This provides a social club for an average of three people in the earlier stages of dementia in the home of a care worker. Each home is known as a "Host Club" and clients usually enjoy various activities such as art and crafts.

Hi I need some help for basic needs as I have nothing until I start and paid with new part time job - which I presume will be within 2-4 weeks. My housemates are helping with rent but that is all help that I've got. I've also lost contact for help from families and friends. My evidence documents were not enough to receive support from Vinnies and other organisation.
