Walk on Wheels Ipswich is a family owned and operated specialist comfort and mobility centre, centrally located in the Ipswich medical precinct directly opposite Ipswich Hospital. As part of Australia’s biggest comfort and mobility buying groups we can offer a large range of comfort and mobility products at very competitive prices, but more importantly, with technical and spares support. With a focus to support those with disabilities, as well as the aged care and rehabilitation community by providing high standard comfort and mobility aids and after sales support, Walk on Wheels Ipswich seek to improving the quality of life of people with a disability within the greater Ipswich region, Somerset, Scenic Rim and Lockyer areas, as well as greater Brisbane Western and Centenary Suburbs. As one of only three independently owned branded stores in Queensland, we promote independence with dignity by providing easy access to equipment including patient lifters, lift chairs, electric beds, mobility scooters, powerchairs, comfort seating, daily living products and continence aids. Walk on Wheels Ipswich are also the only business in the Ipswich region to offer hire of mobility scooters, electric beds, electric lift chairs and patient lifters - all specialist items, and offer a convenient mobile repair service to clients who may be unable to travel. Since 2012 Walk on Wheels Ipswich have hosted and funded an annual “Mobility Scooter Safety, Awareness and Education Day” – the first community initiative of its kind within the Ipswich area – and the event has proven to be a tremendous success with the greater community, attracting participants and allied health practitioners from around South-East Queensland. In 2012 the store was proudly appointed as a contracted agent to supply important mobility equipment to eligible veterans through the Department of Veterans' Affairs RAP scheme. Since their establishment in 2007, their commitment to outstanding customer service has been recognised with an array of awards through the local business community. Walk on Wheels Ipswich have previously supplied mobility and support equipment to local clients of HACC and currently have service agreements in place with a range of non-government organisations across South East Queensland for the timely delivery and supply of equipment through DVA, MASS, CAEATI and EACH. They also offer a range of payment options including lay-by, No-Interest-Ever finance through Certegy and Centapay to eligible customers.
