Wellington Senior Citizens' Centre
The Wellington Senior Citizens' Centre implements programs and provides activities for people over 55 years or younger people with disabilities. Council employs a community worker for the aged and disabled who is responsible for the development of community services, provision of information on community services and referral, support and case work management. Activities provided at the Senior Citizens' Centre include: craft, exercises, luncheons, information days, walking, carpet bowls, cards, Bingo, videos and games. The Centre also coordinates Wellington Council's Community Bus which provides fortnightly trips to Yeoval, Stuart Town and Mumbil.
