Wollongong Hospital - Dept of Respiratory Medicine
The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program is an exercise program designed for people with Chronic Respiratory Disease. The aim of the program is to help people with airways limitations increase their level of activity, confidence in exercise and promote improved independence in the home setting. The program also aims to minimise frequency of hospitalisation and length of hospital stay. People referred to the program by their specialist will be assessed by a Respiratory Nurse or Physiotherapist prior to commencing. They will then attend the Pulmonary Rehabilitation gym twice a week for 7 weeks. The program also contains an educational component to improve people's quality of life. Once people have completed the program they have the opportunity to attend a maintenance program to keep fit. Every person referred is automatically put into the social group called the Heavy Breathers for support.

I have been a bit lost for 8 months. My family broke apart after my wife attacked me with scissors and destroyed all my belongings and cut up all my clothes. my wife then took my kids away (who were in my care) and threatened to take them to China. Blocked all contact I've not known where they were till last month and I've been left couch surfing and living off the good graces of a few friends.

Hi my name is Trent. I have been unemployed since February 10th, I have applied for jobseeker but my claim was rejected and now is being reassessed by the complex review team. I am in need of some food and personal items as I have fully out welcomed my friends and family for support. I have a rental bill through my Aunty but they are not chasing me down for it. If anyone could help me I will be much appreciated. This is the first time I have ever had to ask for help and it’s a hard thing to do.
