Woy Woy Stroke Recovery Club
Provides information and social therapy to stroke victims and their families. Provides education on stroke prevention and recovery. Meetings held every 2nd Tuesday of each month from 11.30 am - 1 pm at Meals on Wheels Building Ocean Beach Road Woy Woy. Hydrotherapy classes Tuesdays and Saturdays 10 am -11 am at Woy Woy Hospital Hydrotherapy Pool, Kathleen Street Woy Woy.

My mum suffered a stroke in July and is currently in Woy Woy rehab centre. They’re hoping she’ll be home in 5/6 weeks. My dad is looking for someone to come in the mornings and evenings to help with mum. We are looking at between 4-6 hours per day. We’ll know more in 5/6 weeks as to the role itself but it’s standby assistance.
