Services Provided by Wyalkatchem-Koorda and Districts Hospital are :- Accident and Emergency (24 hours) Allied Health Services Child Health Health Promotion and Education Home and Community Care (HACC) Immunisation Paediatric Services Residential Care Respite Care Covers Wyalkatchem and Koorda. At Wyalkatchem Hospital which has 13 beds , Dr Kubicek is available 24/7 for emergencies. Maureen Dickson is the community nurse. The Koorda health service is comprised of a child health centre and a community health centre. It also shares a district hospital with Wyalkatchem. The HACC office is on this site and the coordinator is Corinne Graham. HACC offers: Meals, Nursing (general) Domestic duties, Transport, Support for Families. The HACC Coordinator is Del Pladdy. Wallambin Lodge which is 6-bed low care , aged care facility is on the hospital site and offers respite.

A local GP visits every week ; There is nursing support through the hospital and residents have regular visits to the podiatrist at the hospital ; Therapy assessments are done by a visiting OT; Local churches hold regular services ; Hairdresser visits weekly ; and there is volunteer support from community members . Aged Care Assessment Team (Northam) Referrals from a Medical Practitioner and the Aged Care Assessment Team are required for entry to Dryandra. 20-11-2020. I haven’t been working, I’m receiving Centrelink job seeker. I got kicked out from the family house that I was paying mortgage for. Ive been homeless and leaving in a motel, I did approach Housing Department and thank god and thanks to them that they have offered me a 1 bedroom until which im hoping to move into it next week. Sadly I can’t afford to buy some of the furniture for the unit , jI’m wondering if your company would be able to help me out ?
