Our approach
Our privacy policy is being finalised. YourCare is built on a foundation of privacy by design: end-to-end encryption (MLS, RFC 9420), non-custodial payments, and data minimisation. The server cannot read your messages. We will publish our full privacy policy here shortly.
Key principles
- End-to-end encryption: Messages are encrypted using the MLS protocol (RFC 9420). The server routes ciphertext it cannot decrypt.
- Data minimisation: We collect and store only what is strictly necessary to operate the platform.
- Non-custodial payments: Funds flow directly between members via Stripe Connect. YourCare does not hold or process payment data.
- No advertising: We do not sell data or run advertising. The platform is member-owned, run at cost.
- Open source: The code is publicly available under the AGPL licence. You can verify our claims.
