Rebates on prescriptions, Telephone Allowance etc. Applicants must be under $50.000 income for singles and $ 80.000 for couples. Applications through Centrelink outlets $100,000 couple separated due to illness, combined. For each dependant child add $639.60. Prescription rebates under th e Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme(you pay only $3.50 for each PBS medicine, more if not listed on the scheme). PBS Information Line 1800 020 613. Telephone allowance - max quarterly rate of $22 per quarter $88 per year The higher rate of $132 per year for, $33 per quarter for internet subscribers.
