CACPs are individually planned & coordinated packages of care tailored to help older Australians remain living in their own homes. Funded by the federal government, CACPs are for clients who qualify for low level care. Types of services in a CACP may include: personal care, domestic assistance, meals, transport to appointments & respite care. EACH packages are for those who qualify for & require high level care & may include: registered nursing care, care by allied health professionals, personal care, transport, social support, home help, assistance with oxygen/external feeding. In both CACPs & EACHs the client must be assessed by an ACAT (Aged Care Assessment Team) to determine eligibility.

With our lockdown, the down turn of my job and not qualifying for the new government assistance, not having a vehicle to run myself around I am putting my kids ahead of my own stigma today and ask for any assistance with obtaining support with some groceries, to make matters more difficult I have a child with sever allergies to nuts, dairy and wheat and the urgent issue of epipens which I need to prioritize in having renewed - this also makes food shopping near impossible utilizing the support of local food bank and significantly more expensive. Is there any food vouchers that can be accessed online to use with the supermarkets who offer a click and collect service or home delivery?

I'm a single mum to a 10 yr old boy, Zayden.
We live in Melton, which is in the west of Melbourne.
I urgently require assistance.
Food vouchers would be absolutely ideal and a petrol voucher.
I have to drive my son to and from school.
He is back from school camp today and my registration was due the day he left for camp. Another $100+ I just don't have.
Once my rent is paid there isn't enough left to survive.
This week is extra tough.
Once bills are direct debited I'm lucky to get food for a few days.
I have no family to get help from and zaydens dad doesn't support zayden at all.
Every time I ask for help from places locally I have to be assessed and it's so much stress going through all your troubles being advised to see financial advisers. It's so depressing going through the same thing each time.
I keep getting referred to Orange Door. They seem to help everyone else I've spoken to without having to relive and go thru your depressing present reasons why you require help quite indepth they go. Which is too stressful.
They have left me without assistance on a friday left me with no help because I'd spoken to more than 1 person there they were confused and just left me with nothing.
My phone is playing up so can't receive calls always so they just didn't send vouchers they'd told me they were sending..
It's just so stressful having to explain your story all the time.
