Support offered to children and parents from birth or as soon as the child is identified as having a vision impairment. Students and pre-school/school teachers receive support from Advisory Teacher for Vision. Students are not segregated. Continually monitored and adjusted according to child's needs. Students in remote areas receive visits at 3 to 6 month intervals for up to a week at a time. Between visits, Special Education Teachers or Inclusion Support Assistants work with these students.
