Financial assistance may be available under this scheme for those Tasmanian residents who need to travel more than 75 kms to access specialist medical services in Tasmania or who need to travel interstate to access specialist medical services not available in Tasmania.Financial assistance may be available towards approved air, sea or road travel and some accommodation expenses. I had a very tough year the last few months I had to watch my mother slowly die from breast cancer, been struggling since mums passing before I turned 50. My family doesn't talk to me after mother passed been a lot of other things on my mind in regards to my immediate family.
