Murdoch Community Hospice is a facility catering for all the community including public and private patients. Facilities include 20 spacious rooms with en-suites, family dining and sitting rooms, an overnight room, chapel/prayer room and easy access to outdoor areas and a Support and Therapy Centre. A 5 minute walk through the lovely gardens to the coffee shop, florist, and gift shop situated in St John of God Health Care Murdoch. Visitors hours are very flexible, especially for families. Formerly known as the Murdoch Community Hospice, the facilty provides provides specialised palliative care to patients facing an active progressive life threatening illness, and support for carers. There are social workers , pastoral care services that offer advice, counselling and support for both the patients and their families.There is also various support and therapy activities for patients.

Hello. Catherine here. I am a little embarrassed to admit that I am not able to feed myself. I have let my car rego go because I cant afford the greenslip. After I pay my rent and other bills I have no money left for food. PLEASE help

I recently had a 5 day holiday for a family get together, and I had a friend from Sydney stay in my unit to look after my cat as I could not take here with us. Sadly, one of our neighbor's put a note on her car window, that she was not allowed to park the car there, and that she had been reported to Department of Housing. the spot she parked in is a spare spot, and not parking has been officially allocated to tenants. I spoke to dept of housing about this, and was told it was quite ok for me to have a visitor stay, and for them to use that car space and that they would notify all the tenants of this. But to date nothing has happened, and I have another trip away coming up soon, and really don't want this to happen again. Any advice would be appreciated.
