WBH is the assessment and admission centre for a 10 month long term rehabilitation program known as the Salvation Army Bridge Program. WBH caters for men from 17 years of age who present with addictions. WBH offers 41 beds for low medicated detoxification. The Bridge Program is based on the 12 step model and consists of Stage 1 at WBI (3 weeks), Stage 2 at another Bridge Centre (approx. 7 months) and stage 3 at WBH (2 months). Hours of assessment: 8:30am-5pm weekdays. Expenses are met by The Salvation Army and a percentage of the participant's Centrelink payment.

My mum suffered a stroke in July and is currently in Woy Woy rehab centre. They’re hoping she’ll be home in 5/6 weeks. My dad is looking for someone to come in the mornings and evenings to help with mum. We are looking at between 4-6 hours per day. We’ll know more in 5/6 weeks as to the role itself but it’s standby assistance.
