Volunteer Referral Service
Interviews and refers volunteers to do different jobs in not-for-profit organisations and services. These organisations must be registered with the Volunteer Referral Service to ensure that volunteers are provided with meaningful work within a set job description and have insurance to cover volunteers. The Volunteer Referral Service is able to organise voluntary work that meets the contractual needs of Centrelink clients.

I am currently on Newstart and after rent and phone credit I have under $100 to live on for a fortnight. I've been managing to hang in there for a few months but its now bee almost 4 weeks with nothing but bread to eat. I can't afford to get to any organisation to get food parcel.
