A Respite House was opened in May 2003 at 124 Bogan Street Nyngan to provide Respite care for a maximum of 2 people at a time

The house is provided by Homeswest and managed and mainatained by the Esperance Aboriginal Corp. The aim of the respite house is to provide a safe and homely place for carers and support people ; those who care for individuals with a mental illness or for elderly needing special care. The house s located one kilometre from the town centre , beach and community welfare services. It has x3 bedrooms - one with double bed and the other two each with x2 single beds. The house is an open plan brick home with separate kitchen , dining , lounge area , bathroom and laundry. There is a TV, video , telephone and gas heater . Must bring own bedding and food.
