Kurri Kurri Community Centre offers a wide range of services to the community, including services to assist fraila ged and younger disabled people remain in their own home (Home and Community Care Services). Services available are Community options, Dementia Options and Home Modification & Maintenance. The Centre also has a supported employment service who carry out lawn maintenance, litter removal and basic labouring and cleaning jobs. HACC project that provides a range of culturally appropriate respite services targeted at socially isolated, culturally and linguistically diversified (CALD) frail aged, adults with disabilities and their carers. The project can provide short term, planned and individual carer support that includes counselling, advice, advocacy, information, referral, support and linkages to other services that support the caring relationship, centre based/group respite, individual respite and transport to and from respite activities. Priority will be given to cultural groups with no or limited access to culturally specific respite. The project will work in partnership with multicultural services and social groups that have identified the need for new or expanded respite services.

ComPacks is a case managed package of care provided for up to 6 weeks after discharge from hospital. The length of service depends upon the amount of support required. This service is for people who need two or more services in order for them to return home safely with appropriate care in place. Services are flexible and may include;Case Management, Domestic Assistance, Personal Care, Meals, Social Support, Transport, Respite Care, Small items of equipment and Home Modification and Maintenance. Where ongoing assistance is needed after the six week period, clients will be referred to other community services.
