CRS assists people with an injury or disability to gain employment. Rehabilitation programs include: assessment and treatment, improving functional abilities, on the job training, work related education, retraining for people unable to return to previous work, advice on suitable alternative employment, counselling to help with considering future choices. Note that Vocational Rehabilitation is usually free for those who have an injury or disability and receive an income support benefit from Centrelink.

CRS Australia may provide rehabilitation programs free of charge for those clients eligible for services. They can offer advice on choosing the right job, work experience and support, work focussed training courses, vocational counselling. They also assist by getting a job by discussing the effect of the injury or disability in relation to work. Working out supports needed, help get the skills needed. Helping decide on what type of job, helping find the right job and helping them to keep that job. Fees apply where injury covered by workers comp insurance and/ or employer.

18 bed rehabilitation unit for people who have sustained traumatic or non-traumatic spinal cord injuries. The aim is to assist clients to achieve the highest possible level of physical functioning post injury and re-integrate into the community. The focus is on meeting the needs of the individual clients and supporting their family or carers. Clients receive an individual goal centred rehabilitation program, provided by a mulstidisciplinary team that includes living skills training, vocational advice, hydrotherapy, a physiotherapy gym, the Neil Fitzer rehabilitation engineering unit, outpatient services, transitional living unit and recreational activities such as tennis and wheelchair rugby.
