BSS doesnt offer accommodation as such, but does offer lifestyle support to enable people to live in their own home and community. Respite, home visits recreational activities, transport, monitoring and telephone support available to clients. (other services are able to be brokered out).

The Jacana Centre for Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Residential Care is a 44 bed specialty complex. Respite beds are also available. 16 beds in ABI, 19th Ave, Brighton.

Link In provides in-home lifestyle support to clients. Depending on client needs this can include transport to appointments, chemists, etc. Psychiatric Disability Support.

Clear Horizons

Clear Horizons provides post school and community access services to people with disabilities aged 18-65. To be eligible to attend people must have an individual funding package through DSQ's Post School Services, Adult Lifestyle Support, or Adult Family Support Programs. Fee for service is also available. Their group programs provide a range of activities including community access, social and educational programs, independent living skills training, work experience and vocational programs. They also offer an 1-1individualised post school service, which is tailored towards the specific needs of an individual and provides exceptional flexibility. Service users are supported 1-1 either in the home or in the community. Clear Horizons also holds DSQ emergency funding for people residing in the Redlands.

Open Minds

Personal Helpers and Mentors program - supporting people whose lives are severely affected by a severe mental illness. People who join the program will work with their own Personal Helper and Mentor who will support them on their recovery journey. Need to be over 16 yrs age and able to make an informed decision to access the program.
