This is a nine bed palliative care unit consisting of six single rooms and two shared rooms, each with their own en-suite. The unit also includes a kitchen, dining room, quiet room, lounge room and garden court yards. Comprehensive care is provided to patients and their families through a multidisciplinary team in nursing, medical, pastoral, volunteer support and allied health services.

The service includes trained volunteers for support visits in hospitals, sibling programs, camps & activities, parent activities and Australia's first hospice for children, offering respite and end of life care.
