Service offers support, education and referrals for individuals, families and mental health providers who are migrants and refugees. Provides a link between mental health practitioners and mental health users from CALB .There is a wide range of services offerred at this centre to enable recent immigrants to access housing,employment,social contacts and general assistance to overcoming barriers to settling into a new country. A sixth program -MWAS- to promote the safety of women and children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds experiencing domestic violence.

Albany Womens Centre

The Albany Womens Centre provides crisis accommodation for Women and their children who are escaping domestic violence. Service is available on a 24 hour basis on 9842 1574. The Children's Domestic Violence Counselling Service provides individual and group treatment programs for children aged 4 - 16 years who have been exposed to family voilence. The Domestic and Family Violence Counselling Service provides support to adults who have experienced family violence and aims to empower victims and support them to overcome the effects of trauma. Changing Tracks provides individual and group treatment for adults engaged in abusive or violent behaviour towards family members. DVASS provides advocacy and support for victims of domestic violence in Katanning and surrounding areas. (Tel 9821 5270) and Mt Barker (08) 9851 2611 once a week.
