This team assesses people under the legislation of the Mental Health Act. They are able to aid police in hospitalising people who are presenting with a mental illness in the community. Also see people who present voluntarily. Also assess and refer people to other agencies. Adult serrvice 18 years and over. I am currently on Newstart and after rent and phone credit I have under $100 to live on for a fortnight. I've been managing to hang in there for a few months but its now bee almost 4 weeks with nothing but bread to eat. I can't afford to get to any organisation to get food parcel. Can I please ask how I can access an application for accommodation in your over 55 units please. I have recently moved back to WA from working in NT. I used to stay at my mum's place but my nephew has moved in so I have no housing. I am 61 not currently working may be able to get some p/t work.
