Theatre Captions: In 2008,selected performances will be live captioned by the Captioning Studio for patrons who are deaf or hearing impaired. FM Radio Assisted Hearing Loop: An FM Radio Assisted Hearing System is available for all performances at the Playhouse and Canberra Theatre. The FM system amplifies and improves the quality of the sound through a headset or hearing aid. Audio Description: In 2008, selected performances will be audio described by trained volunteers from Vision Australia. Audio description is a narration of the visual elements of live threatre transmitted through a small receiver and earpiece for patrons with low or no vision. Canberra Theatre Centre's Subscrition booklet is also available in large print, audio and Braille. Wheelchair Access and Mobility Assistance: If you need wheelchair access or mobility assistance please let the Box Office know when you make your booking, or speak to the front of House manager upon your arrival.
