The Community Restaurant offers morning tea, hot lunch, dessert and tea/coffee plus social activities. The Community Restaurant is held every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-1.30pm. Transport can be arranged to take patrons from their home to the restaurant, and return home in the afternoon.

Avalon Luncheon Club

Luncheon Club provides a 2 course hot meal for people who like to share a meal with others. It operates every Friday and costs $7.50 per meal (glass of wine or juice, bread roll, hot dinner, desert, and tea or coffee). Transport may be available at a nominal fee for those unable to use public transport.

Lou's Place works closely with other accommodation services to provide a daytime haven for women with children. It provides a range of services to women, from meeting immediate needs for food and clothing, to those promoting personal growth, increasing self esteem, and independence. A range of support services are available for clients, from crisis care to community integration. The service has staff that includes community service workers, psychologists, and a masseuse. Legal and medical services are also available for the women at Lou's Place. Volunteers at the service hold classes for the women, such as writing classes, and computer classes.

Free breakfast, Supported Lunch Service (visitors/consumers contribut $2.00/ meal (by assessment after 2pm). Mon - Fri Breakfast 8am - 9am, Lunch 11.30am - 1pm. Case Management - 9am - 1pm, Mon - Fri Showers, laundry, supply towels, soap, laundry liquid and dryers available. Referral programs in place to medical services, financial counselling, HPIC legal service, Dept of Housing, Centrelink (on site)

The Street Level Internet Cafe offers disadvantaged people affordable meals, Laundry service, showers, free internet access and training in a cafe environment. Street Level is also the home of The Salvation Army's church for homeless and disadvantaged people, where they are invited to attend specifically designed services which are accessible and relevant to their life situation. Dinner is provided for those people attending Friday 6pmnight church service.
