It is staffed by Asthma Educators in the community and a specialist respiratory team at Wollongong hospital. Support, follow up and referral service: Asthma education and assessment. Assistance with device technique, peak flow, symptom monitoring. Self monitoring/self management education and action plans. Spirometry, resource kits, quit smoking programs. Interpreter assistance is available during sessions. Buildings are accessible for people with disabilities. Service can be accessed at Wollongong Hospital - Level 1, Block C; Illawarra Child Development Centre, Porter St, Wollongong; Kiama Hospital/ Community Health Centre, Bonaira St Kiama; Nowra Community Health Centre.
