Offers free loan of equipment for those in crisis (for 24-48 hours). Computer and internet access for people with disabilities. Day Centre not longer operates in Port Sorell. Clients are transported to East Devonport . this is called outreach program.

Provides day respite for carers of frail aged and younger people with a disability. Dementia Day Group known as the Club meets on Fridays. Also a group at Gladstone on Wednesdays for frail aged people. Bus with a hoist picks up clients and transports home.

The Brighton Day Centre operates every Thursday from 9.30 am to 3.00 pm in the Old Council Chambers at Pontville to provide Respite for Carers and socialisation for frail, aged and younger persons with a disability. Optional activities are varied each week and include craft, cards, bingo, music and excursions when appropriate. Morning tea, a hot lunch and afternoon tea are provided, with clients paying a small fee towards the cost of the food. Community Transport is available at a small fee, if required. New clients are very welcome. They can self refer, or be referred by a carer, family member, doctor or nurse.
