Mental Illness Fellowship Day Programs allow people to actively engage in their own recovery, with staff and members jointly running the programs. Members can join the structured part of the day - through art, social, communications, job seeking and recreational activities - or use them on a drop in basis. Work is important in self esteem, earning potential and decreasing isolation. Some of the day programs also offer a range of employment opportunities, including group work and individually supported work placement in open employment.
