Home Library service is available for residents of the Sutherland Shire who are unable to visit the library because they are aged, ill, incapacitated or convalescing. The librarian interviews to ascertain the type and number of books, tapes etc required each fortnight. The selection of material is based on patron's preferences. The driver then delivers them to the patron's home on a regular day, each fortnight and collects the returns. The service also caters for retirement villages & Senior Citizen's group, Nursing homes. CD talking books & large print available for vision impaired.
