Menzies Health Centre is located in the town site of Menzies. It is open 8.30am to 4.30am, Monday to Friday, emergencies only after-hours. The Hilton Community Health Service offers school health services to primary and secondary schools within its geographical area and the Centre is staffed by registered nurses(x14 ) . Community Child Health Nurses can assess children's health and development and provide a range of services for babies and young children up to the age of 4 years. They also provide information about many aspects of parenting, maternal and family health and healthy lifestyles. Child development at these centres provide specialist help with developmental problems detected in children. There is a generalist nurse at the centre and services include baby check-ups,vaccinations,enuresis advice,aboriginal health and diabetes education.Can self-refer and walk-in for service but more usual to be referred from GP or Freo Hospital. Appointments need to be made for particular health service.
