The Taxi Users' Subsidy Scheme (TUSS) provides taxi travel at a reduced rate for people who have a severe disability that will always prevent them from using a conventional public transport bus service. Who is eligible for a subsidy? To be eligible for a subsidy you must: -be a permanent resident of Western Australia. Proof of residency is required, for example: a copy of a pension card, a driver's licence or a residency visa. If a residency visa is provided please also provide a copy of a recent utility bill; and -have a severe disability that will always prevent you using a conventional public transport bus service; and -The disability is required to be continual and fall within the specified categories of: severe mobility disability; severe vision disability (legal blindness); and severe cognitive/intellectual disability.
