Survivors of Suicide Bereavement Support Assoc

Support Group for people bereaved by suicide. Meetings held at Mt Gravatt Community Centre 1693 Logan Rd Mt Gravatt fortnightly on Fridays 7.30pm. All workers are volunteers. Please leave a message if no answer and they will call back. Referral to professional counsellor if needed. Fees only if applying for membership.

The Dutch Helpline provides general Dutch specific information (in the Dutch Language if necessary). Referals can be from self or other agencies and can aid in the referal to other agencies and assists with the completion of forms or directs to appropriate chanels.

Silver Cord Telephone Reassurance Service

Gold Coast Silver Cord Telephone Reasurrance Service Provides daily security calls to check on the safety and wellbeing of clients. A security process is activated in the case of an emergency. Friendship calls are provided between 1 and 3 times a week for a friendly, supportive chat. Silver Cord does not provide counselling.
