The Royal Australian Air Force Association was originally formed in 1920 as the Australian Flying Corps Association to foster friendship among the personnel of the Australian Flying Corp, the RAAF's First World War predecessor. The Association maintains Welfare Advisors at State and Branch level and has developed Retirement Estates, Aged Care Services and an Aviation Heritage Museum in Western Australia. Services are available via a series of specially funded programs through Veterans Home Care or by private negotiation by RAAFA through AFA Care .This is a fully-funded service for veterans but is also a private domicilliary service for the general community. AFA Care provides :- -In home domestic assistance -Personal care -Home and Garden Maintenance -Respite Care -Nursing Care
